Class 2 Driver

Search are currently recruiting for a HGV Class 2 driver to work on behalf of our prestigious client based in Manchester. Please note you need at least 12 months commercial class 2 driving experience for this role due to insurance purposes

This is a double manned role and will involve the delivery of drinks (including alcohol) to customer locations. This can be a physically demanding position as there is a large element of handball involved, including loading of the vehicle, so please consider this before applying.

Pay rates PAYE
* £15.00/h Monday to Friday

Pay rates PAYE (inc. holiday pay):
* £17.65/h Monday to Friday

Key Responsibilities:
* Safely operate Class 2 vehicle.
* Conduct depot deliveries and collections, ensuring timely and efficient service.
* Secure loads properly to prevent shifting or damage during transport.
* Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any issues promptly.
* Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and other team members.
* Assist with loading and unloading of goods when necessary.

Requirements:
* Valid Class 2 (C) driving license, CPC, Tacho card.
* Experience in general haulage & able to strap
* A clean driving record with no major endorsements.
