CLASS 2 DRIVER

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Class 2 HGV Driver to join our team based in Basildon. This is a permanent, full-time position, offering a competitive annual salary and stable working hours.

As a Class 2 Driver, you will be responsible for curtainside multi-drop deliveries across various locations, ensuring safe and timely transportation of goods. This is day work only, with no nights out and no weekend shifts, providing a consistent Monday to Friday routine.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out multi-drop deliveries using a Class 2 curtainside vehicle

• Ensure all goods are loaded and unloaded safely and securely

• Maintain high levels of customer service and professionalism

• Complete all relevant paperwork accurately and promptly

• Adhere to all road safety, driving regulations, and company policies

Requirements:

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) HGV licence

• Up-to-date CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph card

• Previous experience with curtainside multi-drop work preferred

• Good geographical knowledge of the surrounding area

• Strong communication and time management skills
