Job Description - Class 2 Driver

Class 2 Driver
Money: £35,000 - £40,000 Per Annum
Location: Thurmaston, Leicestershire

Main Duties:

Deliver and collect plant machinery and small tools between various sites.
Safely transport equipment, ensuring all loads are secure and compliant with safety regulations.
Follow pre-planned driving routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries and collections.
Conduct daily vehicle checks, reporting any defects or issues.
Complete all relevant paperwork accurately and on time.
Maintain a clean, tidy, and organized cab.
Communicate regularly with managers to ensure smooth operation.

Attributes & Experience:

Class 2 Driving Licence with 1+ years of experience.
Hold a valid Driver’s CPC Licence.
Previous experience in transporting plant or tools is highly desirable but NOT essential.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.
