Class 2 Driver

GI Group are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to join a Family run business on an ongoing, full-time basis.

Shifts:

* Monday to Friday
* 0830 starts
* Job & Knock (Min 8 hours paid)
* Expected finish time is 1600

Pay & Benefits:

- Monday to Friday: £15.68 per hour

* Please note that pay rates include holiday pay

Main Duties will include:

- Conducting Vehicle checks
- 4-12 deliveries per shift
- Some handball
- Securing loads
- Delivering safely to customers throughout the UK
- Prioritising workload to ensure time commitments are met

The Candidate:

- A positive attitude and work ethic, always keen to learn new skills
- A presentable appearance and an eye for detail
- No more than 6 penalty points
- MUST be willing to drive a 3.5T Van or 7.5T vehicle as well
- Hold a valid, in date Tachograph & CPC
- No DD / DR / DN / IN / TT endorsement codes
- Must be able to read, write and communicate in English to adhere to health and safety requirements
- Have good customer service skills
- Must have at least 12 months experience
