Class 2 Driver

Class 2 Driver- Altrincham area

Pay £17.00p/h

We are currently recruiting a Class 2 Driver to work for our client. Newly passed drivers are welcome to apply, so even if you have limited experience, this could be a great opportunity for you.

The Role

As a Class 2 driver you'll be reporting to the Team Leader, you will work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment, adapting to new situations on a daily basis. This is a physically and mentally demanding role that requires reliability, flexibility, and a strong work ethic.

Work would require driving from depot in Altrincham to different parts of UK. Driving with another driver to cover the 9-10 hour shift. Job would include loading and offloading the load.

Shifts:

Average 9-10 hour shifts. Start time:-6am.

Key Responsibilities

Safe and legal operation of a lorry

Conducting pre-trip vehicle checks

Ensuring loads are secure

Planning efficient delivery routes

Adhering to drivers' hours and road regulations

Delivering goods to specified locations on time

Requirements

Full UK driving licence with Category C (Class 2)

Maximum of 3 penalty points
Excellent time management and organisational skills

Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious

Strong work ethic with a positive, can-do attitude

Good communication and teamwork skills

Right to work in the UK

Minimum 1 year's experience desirable, but not essential

All drivers must complete a driving assessment and vetting process before starting.
