Ideal Recruit is currently recruiting experienced Class 2 Drivers for a temp-to-perm opportunity based in Rotherham.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing operation with the potential for a permanent position for the right candidate.

The Role

Delivering goods using a Class 2 vehicle from the Rotherham depot
Operating curtain-sided vehicles
Occasional use of a forklift and tail lift for deliveries
Deliveries to sites including Haribo in Manchester/Trafford and other locations
Some manual handling involved
Flexibility required as overtime and night work may be necessary
2–3 nights out per week may be required

Working Hours

Monday to Friday
Start times between 5:30am and 6:00am
Finish times may vary depending on workload and routes
45-minute unpaid break
Weekend work may become available in the near future
Time and a half may be payable for additional hours and night work where applicable

Requirements

Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
Up to 6 penalty points accepted (no major endorsements)
Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
Minimum 2 years' Class 2 driving experience
Flexible and reliable approach to work
Comfortable with occasional manual handling
