Class 2 HGV Driver – Pallet Network Multi-Drop

Salary: £39,452 per annum

Work Lyf Group are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Class 2 HGV Driver to join their busy pallet network operation based in Welshpool.

This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and customer-focused Class 2 Driver looking to join a well-established transport operation with a consistent Monday to Friday work pattern.

The Role

As a Class 2 Pallet Network Driver, you will be responsible for completing multi-drop deliveries and collections, ensuring freight is delivered safely, efficiently, and on time while maintaining excellent customer service standards.

Key Responsibilities

* Complete pallet network multi-drop deliveries and collections.

* Conduct daily vehicle safety checks and report any defects.

* Ensure all deliveries and collections are completed accurately and on schedule.

* Maintain and complete all required paperwork and PODs.

* Deliver a professional, friendly, and customer-focused service at all times.

* Adhere to Driver Hours regulations, Working Time Directive requirements, and company policies.

* Ensure the vehicle is kept clean and in a roadworthy condition.

Working Hours

* Monday to Friday

* 7:00am start time

* 1 Saturday in every 4 required

Requirements

* Valid Class 2 (Category C) driving licence.

* Current Driver CPC qualification.

* Valid Digital Tachograph Card.

* Excellent timekeeping and organisational skills.

* Strong communication and customer service skills.

* Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.

* Professional and positive attitude.
