HGV Class 2 Drivers – Permanent – Days

Bickenhill, Birmingham | Near Birmingham Airport | £16.33 per hour

Our client, based in Bickenhill near Birmingham Airport, is looking for HGV Class 2 Drivers to join their team on a permanent basis, with immediate starts available.

Newly qualified drivers are welcome to apply. A positive, can-do attitude and good physical fitness are more important than extensive driving experience, as the role involves manual handling.

The role:

* Monday to Friday – days only

* Start times between 05:30 and 07:00

* Typical finish times between 14:30 and 16:30

* No weekends or bank holidays

* Permanent position

* £16.33 per hour

* Bonuses available for collections made at delivery points once full-time

You will be responsible for delivering flooring products to warehouses, large stores and distribution centres. There are no residential deliveries.

You will typically complete 12–20 deliveries per day, with manual handling involved at delivery points. Applicants therefore need to be physically fit and comfortable with a hands-on role.
