Class 2 Driver – Permanent Role (Multidrop with Overnight Stays)
Basildon

£30,043 per annum + £25.50 per night (overnight allowance)

Start times typically from 4am | Overnight stays required

We’re seeking a Class 2 Driver to join a long-established distribution business based in Basildon on a permanent contract.

Start times are typically 4:00am. Following an overnight stay, the next shift must not begin before 6:00am unless specifically authorised

.

Key Details:

Nationwide multidrop deliveries and collections
All trucks fitted with sleeper cabs and tail lifts
Overnight rest taken at designated truck parks
Expense forms must be completed with valid receipts
Start times: 4am day one / 6am minimum post-overnight

What You’ll Need:

Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
CPC and Digital Tachograph card
2 years’ Driving experience
Previous multidrop experience preferred
Flexibility to stay away overnight as standard
International driving experience (beneficial but not essential)
Strong reliability, professionalism, and understanding of driver compliance
