Equivalent hourly rate with bonus: Approximately £16.25 per hour
Hours: Tuesday to Friday, 6:00am–4:30pm
Working week: 40 hoursWe are currently recruiting experienced Class 2 Drivers for a full-time role carrying out residential kerbside collections.The role involves driving RCVs and dustcarts and assisting with loading during collections. This is a physical position, so candidates must be comfortable getting in and out of the vehicle and supporting the collection team throughout the shift.Duties
Driving Class 2 RCVs and dustcarts
Completing residential kerbside collections
Assisting with loading
Carrying out vehicle checks
Following road safety and site procedures
Working as part of a collection team
Providing a reliable and professional serviceRequirements
Valid Class 2 licence
Valid Driver CPC
Valid Digital Tachograph Card
At least one year of Class 2 driving experience
Previous waste or recycling experience is not essential
Comfortable with manual and physical work
Reliable and punctual
Able to work Tuesday to FridayShift Pattern
Tuesday to Friday
6:00am–4:30pm
30-minute unpaid lunch

Equivalent rate including the bonus is approximately £16.25 per hourDriver assessments are available from 10:00am onwards, with successful candidates progressing to induction.Candidates will also need to provide a record of their Driver CPC periodic training hours before being sent out in a vehicle
