Class 2 Hgv Driver

Role Overview: Driver Hire Lincoln is recruiting a professional HGV Class 2 Driver to support general haulage operations for a client based in Horncastle. This is a long term on going position, providing 5 days per week.

Position: HGV Class 2 C Driver

Location: Horncastle Lincolnshire

Start Date: Immediate

Employment Type: Long term - on going

Recruiting Office: Driver Hire Lincoln

Pay:

* £14.80 per hour (first 8 hours)

* £19.75 per hour (overtime after 8 hours)

* Weekly PAYE pay every Friday

Key Responsibilities:

* 06:00 starts

* 10 - 12 hour days

* Complete 1–3 deliveries per day, both locally and nationwide

* Transport goods safely and efficiently

* Conduct daily vehicle checks and maintain delivery records

* Communicate clearly with dispatch and clients

* Adhere to all safety and operational procedures

* All loads forklifted off at each delivery point

Candidate Requirements:

* Valid UK HGV/LGV Class 2 C licence

* CPC qualification and digital tachograph card

* No major endorsements (maximum 6 penalty points)

* Hi-vis clothing and safety boots

* Personal transport to get to and from work

* Positive attitude and willingness to assist
