Class 2 HGV Driver

Class 2 Driver – Peterhead
Temp to perm – opportunity.
Pay: £14.20–£14.50 pr hr – O/T £21.30–£21.75 pr hr after 40 hrs – Sun: Double time – Overnight allowance: £25
We are urgently recruiting a Class 2 Driver for an established operation based in Peterhead.
You’ll deliver fresh, frozen and ambient goods to vessels and support the wider offshore operation. The role also involves loading and unloading using a PPT and tail lift, completing delivery paperwork and communicating with vessels.
What’s on offer:
* Mon–Fri – starts 6am – 5pm – with Sat or Sun – every second weekend
* OT at time and a half after 40 hours – Double time on Sundays
* Very occasional overnight work – around once a month at most with a £25 overnight allowance
* Warehouse duties when driving work is unavailable
* Good team environment with regular social and team-building events
* Potential for further opportunities as existing drivers retire
What we’re looking for:
* Class 2 licence – essential
* CPC & Digi Tac – current
* Max 6 points, ideally a clean licence
* Age 21+
* Reliable, flexible and willing to get stuck in
* Class 1 and ADR advantageous but not essential
* Previous experience is not essential – reliability and the right attitude are key
* Basic food safety and health & safety awareness
* Forklift experience advantageous but not essential
