Job Description - Class 2 HIAB Driver

Class 2 HIAB Driver

£34,000 per year + Bonus
Permanent Role

We’re hiring an experienced Class 2 HIAB Driver to join a leading builders merchant in Edinburgh. This is a full-time, permanent position with a competitive salary of £34k + bonus, offering great stability and a supportive team environment.

About the Role:

Delivering building materials, timber, and supplies to trade and domestic customers
Operating HIAB (remote or hook) to load/unload materials safely
Representing the business with professionalism and great customer service
Monday–Friday schedule with optional weekend work

Requirements:

Class 2 (Category C) license
HIAB certification (preferably with remote or hook crane)
CPC & Digital Tachograph card
Experience with building/timber materials preferred
Good communication and a can-do attitude
