Job Description - Class 2 Hiab Driver - Mepal

Here at the Mick George Group we are currently recruiting a Class 2 Hiab Driver to join the team.
Location: Mepal
Working Hours: Monday - Friday between 6am – 6pm, Occasional Saturday work averaging 50 hours per week
Pay: On target earnings circa £45,000 per annum plus performance related bonuses

About the Role
Due to continued growth, we are seeking Class 2 Hiab Drivers to join our business and continue driving the business to success. This is a fantastic opportunity to join our existing team of Class 2 Hiab Drivers. Successful applicants must hold a Category C driving license, Digital Tachograph Card, Drivers Qualification Card &Hiab Licence

Main Responsibilities:
Perform Pre-Shift and End-of-Shift vehicle checks including regular walk around inspections and report any defects found.
Adhere to road safety rules, including the Highway Code and Road Traffic Act, and complying with driving regulations like the Working Time Directive and Drivers Hours.
Ensure loads are secure and within weight limits and following site-specific rules.
You must maintain vehicle cleanliness, provide excellent customer service, and drive safely and economically. Demonstrate a high level of Geographical Knowledge.
Complete any adhoc requests.
