Class Teacher

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a KS2 Primary Teacher on behalf of a supportive and inclusive 2-form entry school located in the London Borough of Sutton. This opportunity is ideal for a qualified teacher looking for flexible work to cover sickness absence across varied days.

The role involves delivering engaging lessons across KS2 with some planning responsibilities depending on the schedule. The position starts in April 2025 and will run through to July 2025.

About the Role:

• Teach across KS2 on varied days to cover teacher absence

• Deliver engaging and inclusive lessons

• Work collaboratively with class TAs and other staff

• Implement effective behaviour management strategies

• Adapt learning materials to suit a range of needs

• Attend relevant staff meetings as required

Requirements:

• UK recognised Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• Solid understanding of the KS2 curriculum

• A flexible and proactive attitude

• Willingness to support the school's ethos and values

• Confident working with colleagues, children, and external professionals

• Availability from April 2025 through July 2025 on a flexible basis
