A welcoming and supportive primary school in the Walton-le-Dale (PR5) area is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 1 Teacher to join their team on a full-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate teacher who is committed to delivering engaging lessons and helping pupils thrive during a key stage of their educational journey.
We are looking for a teacher who can create a positive and inclusive learning environment, inspire young learners, and support pupils in reaching their full potential.
The Role
Full-time Year 1 teaching position Planning, preparing and delivering engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum Assessing pupils' progress and adapting teaching to meet individual needs Creating a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment Working closely with colleagues, support staff and parents to support pupil development Maintaining high expectations for behaviour, achievement and wellbeing
The Ideal Candidate
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Previous experience teaching within Key Stage 1 is essential Strong classroom and behaviour management skills Excellent communication and organisational abilities Passionate about supporting children's academic and personal development Able to quickly build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
