TeacherActive is proud to be working with a welcoming mainstream primary school in Maesteg and surrounding areas, offering a supportive and inclusive learning environment across all key stages. The school promotes a positive ethos, encouraging both staff and pupils to thrive within a well-structured and nurturing setting.

The school is looking to take on a Teaching Assistant on a full-time and part-time flexible basis, starting ASAP. The successful Teaching Assistant will be required to support pupils across all key stages, with the opportunity to provide 1:1 support where needed, assisting with classroom activities and helping to manage behaviour effectively.

Weekly PAYE
THE ROLE:

Supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons
Providing one-to-one or small group support to pupils
Helping to create a positive, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment
Assisting with classroom preparation, resources, and activities
Encouraging pupil participation and promoting positive behaviour
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

Minimum 6 months experience working with children
Experience can be voluntary, school-based, or from transferable roles (youth work, care, coaching, etc.)
A passion for supporting children’s learning and development
