What You'll Be Doing

As a Classroom Support Assistant, you will:

Support pupils during lessons to help them engage with learning activities.
Work alongside teachers to deliver an inclusive and positive classroom experience.
Provide encouragement and reassurance to children who may need extra support.
Assist with small-group interventions and one-to-one learning activities.
Help promote positive behaviour and strong classroom routines.
Encourage children's social, emotional and academic development.
Adapt your support to meet the individual needs of pupils across the school day.
Build positive relationships with children, staff and families.

Have worked with children in schools, nurseries, clubs, childcare settings, tutoring or community-based roles.
Are patient, resilient and approachable.
Have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Can support pupils with a range of learning needs, including SEND, SEMH or EAL.
Enjoy working collaboratively as part of a team.
Have a genuine passion for helping children reach their potential.
Additional language skills would be an advantage but are not essential.

What We Need to Clear You

To help get you into the classroom as quickly as possible, we'll need:

A valid passport or evidence of your right to work in the UK
Two recent proofs of address
An up-to-date CV covering the last 10 years of employment and/or education history, with any gaps explained
An overseas police check if you have lived outside the UK for 3 months or more within the last 5 years
An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)
Our team will support you through every stage of the compliance process.
