1 Month Contract with A Local Authority

To maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the school premises, ensuring a safe and clean environment for pupils, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean classrooms, offices, corridors, toilets, and communal areas in accordance with cleaning schedules.
  




• Sweep, mop, vacuum, polish, and disinfect floors and surfaces.
  




• Empty bins and dispose of waste in a hygienic and safe manner.
  




• Refill soap, toilet paper, and paper towel dispensers.
  




• Report any health and safety hazards or maintenance issues to the Site Manager.
  




• Lock/unlock rooms or areas as required (if part of duties).
  




• Ensure equipment and cleaning materials are used safely and stored properly.
  




• Follow school safeguarding and health & safety policies at all times.
  

Requirements

• Previous cleaning experience (preferably in a school or similar environment)
  




• Ability to work independently and use initiative
  




• Reliable, punctual, and responsible
  




• Good attention to detail
  




• Understanding of basic hygiene and health & safety requirements
