3 Months contract with a Local Authority

Job Purpose

To maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety throughout Ty Pennant Car Park facilities, ensuring all public, staff, and communal areas are clean, sanitised, and welcoming for all users.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitise toilet areas including toilets, sinks, cubicles, walls, doors, pipes, hand dryers, and floors.
  


• Clean staff room facilities including work surfaces, tables, floors, and skirting boards.
  


• Clean communal areas including stairwells, stairs, walls, lift areas, and flooring.
  


• Remove graffiti from designated areas when required.
  


• Safely operate cleaning equipment including scrubber dryers.
  


• Ensure all cleaning materials and equipment are stored safely after use.
  

Experience

• Previous cleaning experience in commercial, public, or communal environments is desirable.
  


• Experience using cleaning machinery or equipment is advantageous.
  


• Ability to work independently and complete tasks efficiently.
  


• Understanding of hygiene and cleanliness standard.
  

Desirable

• COSHH awareness or cleaning-related training.
  


• Experience operating scrubber dryers or similar cleaning equipment.
