Job Description - Cleaner

1-month contract with a School

Umbrella Pay Rate: £15.37 per hour umbrella

10 hours per week (3:30PM to 5:30PM)

Enhanced DBS Barred with children Required

Summary

This is a 1-month contract position at School, offering a pay rate of £15.37 per hour through an umbrella company. The role requires 10 hours of work per week and involves delivering top-notch cleaning services to maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for students, staff, and visitors. An Enhanced DBS check, barred with children, is mandatory for this position.

Responsibilities

Clean and disinfect toilets, washrooms, and related facilities.

Perform general cleaning tasks throughout the school.

Vacuum carpets and floors in classrooms, corridors, offices, and shared spaces.

Mop hard floors and promptly address any spillages.

Empty waste bins and dispose of waste properly.

Restock cleaning and hygiene supplies as needed.

Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene at all times.

Adhere to health and safety guidelines and use cleaning equipment safely.

Report maintenance or health and safety issues to the relevant personnel.

Requirements:

Previous cleaning experience in a school, office, commercial, or public sector setting is preferred.

Ability to use cleaning equipment and materials safely and efficiently.

Knowledge of hygiene and infection control practices.

No formal qualifications are required.

An Enhanced DBS check, barred with children, is essential.

Additional Information

Working hours are 10 hours per week.

Location: Sutton in Ashfield NG17 2LH.

Payments are made bi-weekly.
