Summary

This is a 1-month contract position at a school, offering an umbrella pay rate of £16 per hour. The role requires working 21.25 hours per week, from 4 PM to 8:15 PM. The primary responsibility is to deliver a top-notch cleaning service, ensuring the school remains clean, safe, and hygienic for students, staff, and visitors. An enhanced DBS check with a barred list and a valid driving license are mandatory for this role.

Responsibilities

Perform general cleaning tasks throughout the school premises.

Vacuum carpets and floor areas.

Mop hard floors to ensure cleanliness and safety.

Clean and sanitize toilets, washrooms, and related facilities.

Wipe and disinfect surfaces, fixtures, and touchpoints.

Empty internal bins and manage waste disposal appropriately.

Requirements:

Previous cleaning experience in a school, office, commercial, or public sector setting is preferred.

Proven ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

Capability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently.

Understanding of safe cleaning practices and procedures.

Enhanced DBS check is mandatory.

Full UK driving license is required.
