JOB TITLE: Cleaner

LOCATION: The Heart Shopping Centre, Walton-on-Thames

SHIFT PATTERN: 5 days in a week

WORKING HOURS: 32 hours per week

PAY RATE: £13.15 per hour

Position Summary Details 

The cleaner position provides the cleaning and upkeep of an assigned area. 

Essential Functions 

• Cleans and maintains buildings/facilities. Performs cleaning duties, such as cleaning floors, and glass and removing rubbish.  
• Notifies managers concerning the need for minor or major repairs or additions to building operating systems.  
• Establishes and maintains effective communication and working relationships with clients, co-workers, shift coordinators, supervisors, managers, etc.  
• Complies with all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards and procedures established by the Company, Clients, and regulatory authorities.  
•  Performing thorough cleaning and maintenance of floors, including sweeping, mopping,  and vacuuming. 
• Using floor buffers and carpet cleaners to maintain the cleanliness and appearance of floors. 
• Operating cleaning equipment, such as buffers, scrubbers, and carpet extractors. 
• Organizing supplies. 

Position Summary Details 

The floor technician may be responsible for cleaning and maintaining floors.  

Qualifications 

• Must meet all requirements to receive approval for working in specific ATS environments (if applicable), including ten-year work history if available.
