Location: Aldershot

Monday to Friday 8am-4pm, starting Monday 13th July for 1 week

Pay: £12.71 per hour

Overview

We are seeking dedicated Cleaners to join our team, responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across student premises. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals who take pride in their work and are committed to creating a safe, welcoming environment. Prior experience in commercial cleaning is essential. The successful candidate will be reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Duties

* Perform thorough cleaning of commercial spaces, including kitchens, corridors, washrooms, and communal areas using appropriate cleaning equipment and products.

* Ensure all surfaces are sanitised and maintained to health and safety standards.

* Restock supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet roll as needed.

* Dispose of waste responsibly and ensure bins are emptied regularly.

* Follow established cleaning schedules and report any maintenance issues or hazards promptly.

* Maintain a high level of organisation within the cleaning area to ensure efficiency.

* Adhere to health and safety guidelines at all times during cleaning procedures.

Experience

* Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for suitable candidates.

* Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently and independently.

* Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.

* Reliable with a strong work ethic and punctuality.

* Ability to follow instructions carefully and maintain high standards of cleanliness.

* Physical capability to perform cleaning tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
