Location: Redhill Salary: £25,179 per annum 36 hours per week
A leading housing provider is looking for a reliable and motivated Cleaner to join its void properties team in the Redhill area.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a high-quality cleaning service across empty properties, ensuring homes are safe, clean and ready for re-letting. You will work alongside a large, multi-skilled trades team and collaborate with other departments to help deliver an outstanding, customer-focused service.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver a high-quality cleaning service across void properties.
* Carry out all general cleaning duties, including sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, dusting and polishing.
* Undertake thorough deep cleaning of kitchens, bathrooms and other areas of properties.
* Safely operate cleaning equipment and use cleaning materials in accordance with health and safety requirements.
* Ensure properties are presented to a high standard and ready for new residents.
* Accurately record completed work and materials used using handheld IT devices.
* Work collaboratively with other trades and teams to meet deadlines and shared objectives.
* Maintain a professional and customer-focused approach at all times.
The ideal candidate will have:
* Previous experience in a cleaning role, ideally within housing, property maintenance or void properties.
* Strong planning and organisational skills.
* A willingness to go the extra mile and take responsibility when required.
* The ability to work independently and use your own initiative.
* A flexible approach to changing priorities and working across different departments.
* Effective team-working skills and the ability to support joint workloads.
* Good attention to detail and pride in delivering a high standard of work.
* Basic IT skills and the ability to use handheld devices to record work.
