Working Hours: 7:30am - 4:00pm
Start Date: 12th October 2026
End Date: 13th September 2026
PAYE Rate: £13.53 per hour
Umbrella Rate: £17.62 per hour

Role Overview

We are currently looking for 2 Cleaners to join our team in Southampton. The successful candidates will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness across designated areas of the site, ensuring a safe, clean and professional environment at all times.

Key Responsibilities

Provide daily cleaning support across high-traffic areas of the building as directed by the Supervisor.

Clean and maintain bathrooms, ensuring they are fully stocked with toilet paper, paper towels and soap.

Sweep, vacuum and mop hallways, restrooms, elevators and other designated areas.

Dust and damp-wipe furniture and other surfaces as required.

Clean glass partitions, mirrors and other internal glass surfaces.

Follow the company's standard cleaning procedures and maintain consistently high standards.

Complete detailed cleaning checklists for each designated area.

Ensure all cleaning materials and supplies are stored safely and securely at all times.

Follow all relevant procedures when using chemical cleaning products and powered cleaning equipment.

Attend regular staff meetings and any required training or in-service sessions.

Follow established work routines, procedures and company standards.

Use existing procedures to resolve straightforward issues and escalate any concerns where necessary.

Maintain a strong focus on health and safety, including carrying out dynamic risk assessments before, during and after each work activity.

Requirements

Previous cleaning experience is desirable.

Good communication skills and a reasonable level of spoken and written English are essential due to site health and safety requirements.

Ability to follow instructions, procedures and health & safety guidelines.

Reliable, punctual and able to work independently.

Good attention to detail and a strong work ethic.

Comfortable working in a busy, high-traffic environment.
