We are looking for an individual who can cover the cleaning shift of Monday, Wednesday & Friday. This is for 2 hours a shift. 6 hours per week. Times are between 8am-4pm. You can  arrange a suitable time to complete your shift. Pay rate is £12.21. This is for Jewson Oswestry.

Position Overview:

As a Cleaning Operative, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our clients' premises. You will be responsible for performing a variety of cleaning tasks, including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a strong work ethic, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform general cleaning duties, such as vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces

• Clean and sanitize high-touch areas, such as door handles, light switches, and countertops

• Empty and dispose of trash and recycling bins

• Refill consumables, such as hand soap, paper towels, and toilet paper

• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment, such as vacuums, mops, and dusters

• Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and properly stored

• Report any maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor

• Follow health and safety protocols at all times

• Maintain a professional and friendly attitude towards clients and colleagues

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a cleaning role preferred, but not required

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently

• Knowledge of cleaning products and materials

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to follow instructions and work to a high standard

• Physical ability to perform tasks, such as lifting and bending

• Knowledge of health and safety practices

• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if necessary
