JOB TITLE: Cleaning Operative

LOCATION: The Howard Centre

SHIFT PATTERN: As and when required, 8 hours per week

PAY RATE: £12.00 per hour

As a Cleaning Operative at ABM UK, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of various facilities. You will be responsible for ensuring that all areas are kept clean and presentable, following ABM UK's high standards of cleanliness. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently and independently.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and dusting.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, replenishing supplies as needed.
• Empty trash containers and ensure proper disposal of waste.
• Clean windows, glass surfaces, and mirrors.
• Vacuum and shampoo carpets and upholstery.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in assigned areas.
• Report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate personnel.

• Prior cleaning experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning techniques and equipment.
• Good physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to work different shifts, including evenings and weekends.
