Cleaning Services Transformation Lead

This is a senior transformation role responsible for reviewing and improving a large-scale cleaning service, driving operational efficiencies, strengthening management capability, and enhancing service performance. Working closely with stakeholders across the organisation, you'll implement lasting improvements, optimise processes, and help shape the future direction of the service.

A government-owned facilities management and business services provider based in London, delivering services including cleaning, FM, transport, fleet maintenance, recruitment and technology solutions to public sector clients.

Description

Lead the implementation of operational improvement recommendations across the cleaning service.
Develop and coach Cleaning Operations Managers, improving leadership capability and accountability.
Strengthen contract management, workforce planning, performance reporting and budget controls.
Identify and deliver operational and commercial efficiencies while maintaining service standards.
Improve client relationships, stakeholder engagement and contract governance.
Implement robust quality assurance, audit and compliance processes, including Health & Safety and COSHH requirements.
Drive the adoption of practical digital systems and reporting tools.
Provide strategic recommendations on the future structure and direction of the cleaning services function.
Ensure a smooth transition to a permanent leadership appointment through documentation and handover planning.Profile

Must have:

Senior operations cleaning leadership within public sector - including experience managing multiple sites.
Large-scale cleaning services - experience managing cleaning contracts across schools, public sector estates, community facilities.
Budget & commercial management - Full P&L or budget responsibility, ability to identify cost savings, experience improving profitability.
Transformation & Improvement - experience implementing operational efficiencies, improved KPIs, better workforce planning, performance management processes, service improvement initiatives.
Team Management.Job Offer

Salary ranging from £50,000 to £53,000, dependent on the level of experience.
