Main Duties & Responsibilities:
• Supervise a team of 2 cleaners, ensuring all cleaning tasks are completed to high clinical hygiene standards and within the allocated time.
• Lead by example by performing cleaning duties in assigned areas, including treatment rooms, waiting areas, restrooms, and staff facilities.
• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols, Health & Safety regulations, and colour-coded cleaning systems.
• Organize cover for staff absences and coordinate daily and weekly rotas to maintain full cleaning coverage.
• Monitor and manage cleaning supplies, placing orders as needed and ensuring stock levels are maintained.
• Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure cleanliness standards are met and documented.
• Provide on-site training to cleaning staff on PPE usage, safe chemical handling, and clinical cleaning procedures.
• Liaise with management to address any cleaning concerns, special requests, or feedback.
• Submit weekly staff attendance and hours to the line manager for payroll processing.
• Maintain accurate records of cleaning schedules, audits, and staff performance.
• Ensure professional appearance and conduct at all times.
• Attend mandatory training sessions via ABM University and other platforms to stay updated on procedures and compliance.

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a hygienic and safe clinical environment.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks efficiently.
• Reliable, flexible, and proactive in solving problems.
• Good communication skills and professionalism when interacting with staff.
• Knowledge of infection control and Health & Safety procedures.
• Previous experience in a supervisory role within a cleaning or healthcare environment is preferred.
• Willingness to participate in cleaning duties alongside supervisory responsibilities.
Essential Requirements:
• Provide a 5-year checkable reference history.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Willingness to wear PPE and follow all clinic safety protocols.
• Basic understanding of English for safety and communication purposes.
