This Cleaning Technician position offers the opportunity to help maintain clean, safe and welcoming environments across offices, sheltered housing schemes and communal residential areas. This is a great opportunity to join a supportive team on a long-term contract covering sickness absence, offering consistent, full-time work. You'll be responsible for delivering a high-quality cleaning service across a range of properties and sites, taking pride in ensuring communal areas are somewhere residents can feel proud to live. We'd love to hear from anyone with experience as a Cleaner, Cleaning Operative, Facilities Cleaner, Estate Cleaner, Caretaker or Cleaning Technician, particularly if you have experience working within housing, commercial properties or communal environments.
As a Cleaning Technician, you will be: Cleaning communal areas, offices and specialist housing properties Carrying out block inspections and identifying hazards, spillages or areas requiring attention Using a range of cleaning methods, materials and equipment Removing litter, refuse and small-scale graffiti Completing daily and weekly checks, including basic fire safety checks Reporting repairs, damage and larger waste or environmental issues Working independently while also supporting the wider cleaning teamI'd love to speak to anyone who has: Previous professional cleaning experience A good understanding of basic health and safety procedures A reliable, professional and proactive approach The ability to work independently and meet high cleaning standards The ability to manage their workload and meet deadlinesKey requirements for this Cleaning Technician role: You must be a driver and hold a full UK driving licence You must be able to drive a manual company van Previous professional cleaning experience A reliable and flexible approach to workPlease note: Due to the nature of the role and travelling between sites, being a driver with a full UK driving licence is essential.
The role is offering the following: £16.89 per hour 37 hours per week Monday to Thursday: 7:00am – 3:00pm Friday: 7:00am – 2:30pm A long-term contract covering sickness absence Consistent, stable, full-time work A rewarding role where you'll directly contribute to keeping residents' communities clean, safe and welcomingLocation: Solihull
