Job Description - Client Account Executive

We are seeking a proactive and client-focused Client Account Executive to join a well-established and growing organisation near Waltham Abbey. This full-time role is ideal for someone experienced in managing high-value client accounts within a professional or regulated environment. This is a full-time role working from 8.30am - 5.00pm, Monday - Friday with the option of hybrid working after training (2 days wfh and 3 days onsite). This role offers a generous salary of £28,000 - £32,000 depending on experience.

You will act as a key liaison between the company and its clients, ensuring exceptional service delivery, addressing client needs, and driving long-term account growth. Reporting to the Head of Client Account Management, you’ll collaborate across internal teams to ensure smooth and efficient client support.

Due to limited public transport, own transport is recommended.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with key clients, serving as a trusted advisor and escalation point.
  • Take ownership of all account management matters including service performance and client expectations.
  • Understand client goals and ensure internal coordination across operational teams to meet those needs.
  • Work closely with internal support teams to ensure timely and accurate reporting and case handling.
  • Produce regular reports on account performance and service delivery metrics.
  • Identify opportunities for growth within existing client accounts and suggest process improvements.
  • Manage onboarding of new high-value clients, ensuring smooth handovers and service clarity.
  • Lead client reviews, handle feedback, and escalate service issues where necessary.
  • Represent the company in client meetings, both virtually and in person.
  • Ensure compliance with internal standards and relevant data protection regulations (e.g. GDPR).

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience in client account management or a similar role in a professional or regulated services environment.
  • Strong relationship management, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Confident problem-solver with a customer-first approach.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint); CRM or case management system experience a plus.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and work to deadlines in a fast-paced, detail-oriented setting.

Desirable Experience:

  • Background in service delivery, finance, customer experience, compliance, or other regulated sectors.
  • Understanding of structured client services and account management processes.
