Client Coordinator

Location: Bishop’s Stortford
Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, 8:30am/9:00am start
Pay Rate: £14.10 per hour
Contract: Temporary until 24th December 2026
Start Date: As soon as possible

About the Role

SMT Recruitment is looking for an organised and confident Client Coordinator to join a busy team in Bishop’s Stortford on a temporary basis until Christmas Eve.

This role is ideal for someone with strong administrative and customer service skills who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple tasks. The successful candidate will help coordinate corporate Christmas installations, including festive displays such as Christmas trees, wreaths and garlands for offices, hospitality venues and commercial clients.

Please note: Applicants must be able to drive to travel to the office.

Key Responsibilities

Managing and responding to enquiries through a dedicated Christmas inbox.

*

Preparing quotes and proposals based on client requirements.

*

Coordinating subcontractors and confirming installation schedules.

*

Communicating with clients, subcontractors and internal teams.

*

Handling incoming calls and providing excellent customer service.

*

Issuing relevant documentation, including Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS).

Maintaining accurate records across internal systems.

*

Supporting the coordination of Christmas installations, deliveries and collections.

About You

Previous experience in administration, coordination or customer service.

*

Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple queries.

Confident communication and strong interpersonal skills.

*

Experience managing an inbox and handling incoming calls.

*

A proactive approach with the ability to learn new processes quickly.

*

Strong attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a busy environment.

*

A driver with the ability to commute to Bishop’s Stortford.
