Client Devices Engineer

Good Afternoon,

I am currently representing East Sussex Healthcare who are offering an initial temporary contract for a period of 3-6 months with a view to be extended or offered a permanent position for the right candidate at a rate £ which is negotiable dependent upon experience

We are looking for a Client Devices Engineer this role will be based at: Based at either Conquest Hospital, St Leonards or Eastbourne DGH with expectation of working cross-site and visiting community sites as required BN21 2UD

The right candidate will:

* Provide second line hardware and software support to PC users

* Provide first line LAN support to service users

* Problem solve to diagnose, evaluate and resolve complex hardware and software faults and initiate remedial action or escalate where appropriate

* Maintain hardware and software inventories for service users

* Communicate effectively and professionally with all colleagues and service users, ensuring they receive the highest possible level of customer service

* Communicate complex technical information with colleagues (who may be technical, non-technical and clinical) and ensure that information is presented in a way that is understood

We require the following:

* Worked within an IT support department for a minimum of two years at 1st – 3rd line support level with general understanding of customer environment

* Working knowledge of Windows
