Client Facing Accountant - Ringwood - £40-45K

A Client Facing Accountant is being recruited for a busy boutique firm of accountants based in Ringwood. This is a unique opportunity to work closely with the Director and could be full or part time hours, but would be office based.

An experienced, detail orientated Accountant is needed to provide support to the Director and will have responsibility for:

• Company accounts preparation including year end files
• Provide support and analysis for clients by extracting key financial data to create summaries and visual presentations to aid understanding of performance and planning
• Ensure client records are accurate and up to date
• Review junior team output to ensure accuracy
• Research client queries using HMRC and other official sources to provide clear
• responses
• Ensure knowledge is maintained on VAT, Stamp Duty, Taxation etc
• Act as a sounding board for technical queries and client discussions

Suitable Candidate

• Minimum of 3 years Professional Practice experience
• Qualified, Part Qualified (ACA/ACCA) or Qualified by Experience
• Confident preparing accounts, working papers and tax computations
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Good organisational skills, positive friendly manner and able to work as part of a team
• Strong desire in helping clients make better decisions
• Strong IT skills - Excel, Sage, Xero, Quickbooks
