Client Manager

Client (Full-time) | Essex-Based Firm

We are currently recruiting for a small but growing accountancy and tax advisory firm based in Essex, passionate about helping individuals and businesses thrive. As a close-knit team, we combine professional expertise with a personal, down-to-earth approach to client service. Our firm supports a diverse range of clients - from local entrepreneurs and family-run businesses to limited companies.

We're now looking for a proactive and personable Client Manager to join our team and help support our continued growth.

As part of our Essex team, you'll play a hands-on role in managing a portfolio of clients. Your responsibilities will include:

• Handling accounting and tax compliance for a variety of clients - including sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.

• Managing your workload and deadlines, and maintaining strong client relationships throughout the year.

• Acting as the main point of contact for your clients and ensuring the delivery of high-quality work.

• Preparing year-end accounts and financial statements

• Reviewing work of junior staff across VAT, bookkeeping, and management accounts.

• Analysing financial information to support business decisions.

We're looking for someone who is:

• ACA / ACCA / AAT qualified, or qualified by experience.

• Technically competent with strong IT skills.

• A great communicator and team player, who enjoys building relationships with clients.

• Organised, motivated, and comfortable managing multiple deadlines.
