Client Manager

This is a fantastic opportunity to manage your own portfolio of SME clients while contributing to the continued improvement and growth of the firm. You’ll work closely with the partners, have direct client contact, and play a key role in shaping the future of the practice – all within a supportive, down-to-earth environment that prioritises exceptional client service.

What will the Client Manager role involve?

• Managing a diverse portfolio of SME clients across various sectors
• Overseeing the preparation of statutory accounts, tax returns, and management information
• Acting as the main point of contact for clients, providing proactive advice and building strong relationships
• Reviewing work prepared by junior team members, ensuring accuracy and quality
• Assisting with business development activities and contributing ideas for service improvements
• Supporting the partners in driving the firm’s growth strategy and operational improvements

Suitable Candidate for the Client Manager vacancy:

• ACA / ACCA qualified (or equivalent) with significant experience in a practice environment
• Strong technical knowledge of accounts preparation, compliance, and tax
• Proven ability to manage client relationships and deliver exceptional service
• Previous experience reviewing and supervising the work of junior staff
• Commercially minded, proactive, and eager to contribute to firm growth
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
