Client Manager

A well-established and highly regarded accountancy practice near Weston-super-Mare is seeking an experienced Client Manager to join its growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified practice professional looking to take the next step in their career, working closely with a diverse portfolio of owner-managed businesses, limited companies, partnerships and sole traders across a range of sectors.

The RoleAs Client Manager, you will take responsibility for managing a portfolio of clients, acting as their trusted advisor and ensuring the delivery of a high-quality service. You will work closely with the partners and senior leadership team whilst supporting and developing junior members of staff.

Key responsibilities will include:

Managing a portfolio of clients and acting as their primary point of contact.
Reviewing statutory accounts, management accounts and tax returns.
Providing business and tax advice to clients.
Building and maintaining strong long-term client relationships.
Managing client deadlines and ensuring work is delivered efficiently and accurately.
Supporting, mentoring and reviewing the work of junior team members.
Assisting with workflow management and helping to develop internal processes.
Identifying opportunities to provide additional services and add value to clients.
About YouThe successful candidate will be:

ACA or ACCA qualified.
Experienced within a UK accountancy practice environment.
Currently operating at Assistant Manager level or above.
Able to demonstrate previous people management, supervision or mentoring experience.
Comfortable managing a varied portfolio of clients.
Technically strong with experience across accounts, tax and general practice services.
An excellent communicator with strong relationship-building skills.
Commercially aware and focused on delivering outstanding client service.
