We’re working with a respected independent firm based in Northamptonshire, known for combining high-quality client work with a friendly, inclusive and people-first culture. They’re now looking for a Client Manager to join their growing team.

The Opportunity

You’ll take full ownership of a varied client portfolio, primarily made up of owner-managed businesses. From year-end accounts and tax returns to ongoing support and advisory work, you’ll be the key point of contact - trusted by your clients and supported by a close-knit team.

Key responsibilities:

• Preparing year-end accounts and tax returns to Partner review stage
• Handling VAT returns, bookkeeping, billing and workflow management
• Acting as first point of contact for your client portfolio
• Offering day-to-day advice and support to help clients achieve their goals
• Contributing to process improvement and internal collaboration
• Supporting juniors and building a positive team culture
• This is a role with plenty of autonomy - you'll be trusted to manage your time, build client relationships, and contribute to the wider growth of the firm.

What We’re Looking For

• ACA or ACCA qualified (or qualified by experience)
• Experience managing a client portfolio within practice
• Strong accounts and tax knowledge, with a commercial mindset
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Personable, proactive and a genuine team player
