We’re working with an award-winning Top 100 Firm in Milton Keynes that has just been named one of the Sunday Times Best Places to Work 2025. With a culture built on support, flexibility and staff development, they’re now looking for a Client Portfolio Manager to join their growing accounts team.

The Opportunity

You’ll oversee a portfolio of SME clients across a broad range of industries, supporting a talented team and working closely with the firm’s Senior Managers and Directors. This is a great step up for someone confident in reviewing statutory accounts and offering commercial advice.

Key responsibilities:

  • Managing a portfolio of FRS 102 and FRS 105 clients
  • Reviewing year-end accounts and corporate tax returns
  • Managing billing, budgeting and client recovery
  • Providing advisory support and building strong client relationships
  • Leading, mentoring and reviewing the work of junior team members
  • Finalising accounts under the supervision of the Senior Manager and Principals
  • Advising clients on cloud systems - particularly Xero and QuickBooks
  • Supporting the wider leadership team with the growth of the firm

What We’re Looking For

  • ACA/ACCA qualified (2-5 years PQE) or qualified by experience
  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards and corporate tax
  • Confident managing a client portfolio and leading a small team
  • Demonstrable experience with Xero, QuickBooks Online and app integrations
  • Excellent communication skills and commercial awareness
  • Organised, calm under pressure, and able to meet deadlines
