Job Description - Client relationship manager

Our first initiative was to change the face of group executive committees.

How? By identifying, assessing, and championing women ready to take the step up to a group executive committee through the We Qual Awards.

Now, 36% of We Qual Award Winners sit on a globally listed group Ex Co.

Next, we launched We Qual Executives – a truly global development community for women at C-suite, -1 and –2 within listed companies.

We help these incredible leaders build external networks, provide targeted development addressing common challenges, and enable the sharing of best practice.

To date, we have supported executives from over 30% of global Fortune 1000 companies.

But the real problem is at mid-management levels.

That’s where the cliff face is.

We’re partnering with global companies to help them retain, engage and increase the progression of women through We Qual Rising Leaders.

And we need your help.

In just over four years, we’ve built an incredible brand and reputation working with the world’s largest companies, and have great relationships with global CEOs, CHROs and countless hundreds of incredible VP/C-suite women leaders.

We now need to expand our team and are seeking a Client Relationship Manager who can nurture, retain and grow our portfolio of blue-chip corporate accounts.

You will play a pivotal role in fostering strong relationships with our clients in line with our retention and growth strategy.

Your responsibilities will encompass various aspects of client management, from onboarding new clients to analyzing service performance data, leading on contract renewals and identifying opportunities for growth.

Experience: You will be a strong B2 B relationship manager.

Your previous experience means that you are skilled at managing senior / C-suite level stakeholders from blue-chip global organizations.

You are committed to providing an exceptional experience for clients - as their account manager, you will take the lead on all aspects of the relationship – from onboarding through to service reporting, review meetings to contract renewals.

You can give proactive feedback to clients, offering strategies to drive improved satisfaction and value.

You are experienced with CRM and data analytics tools and able to provide regular reports on client performance/health against agreed KPIs.

You stay up to date on industry trends and utilise this knowledge to make recommendations which will improve the service offering and client experience.

You can work ‘hand in glove’ with internal business functions – ensuring a continuous feedback loop, which will positively impact our sales and marketing strategy.

It is a bonus if you come from a leadership development, coaching, corporate membership background with a focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Requirements: Proven experience in a client relationship / account management role.

Commercially driven with the ability to balance business goals with an authentic customer-focused approach.

Confident with data analytics tools, to produce client reports in line with agreed SLAs, and the ability to adapt reporting based on business / client requirements.

Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence decision-making processes and find mutually beneficial solutions.

Experience working with VP/C-suite level buyers, decision makers and stakeholders within global, blue-chip organizations.

Experience in the training/learning sector would be hugely advantageous – otherwise proven interest in the sector is essential.

Engaging, empathetic, and purposeful, with a strong values-driven approach.

A strategic and critical thinker, able to identify root causes and remedy them appropriately.

A growth mindset that thrives in a fast-paced start-up environment.

A passion for driving gender equality and building a better business world.
