The Role
As an Associate in the Client Services team, you will provide essential administrative and client-facing support to a team of advisers. You'll be at the heart of a fast-paced independent financial advice business, helping clients navigate complex financial decisions. You’ll work alongside experts in the field and contribute to a business recognised for high standards and a commitment to excellent customer service.
What you'll be doing
Process new business applications and associated client paperwork, ensuring accuracy and efficiency Verify client identity electronically and manage key client data securely Chase applications and client requests through to a timely completion Assist advisers with client cash management and placing trades on provider platforms Maintain up-to-date client and plan records using Intelligent Office back-office system Upload and organise documentation according to established procedures Respond promptly to queries from clients, providers, and advisers, delivering excellent customer service Receive and direct incoming telephone calls and documentation appropriately Support advisers with the provision of quotations, applications, and key features for client meetings Manage all assigned tasks efficiently, adapting your day as client needs demand Promote professionalism, equality, and a safe working environment at all times
What we're looking for
5 GCSEs at grade C/4 or above (or equivalent), including Maths and English Strong communication skills: able to adapt your approach for clients and colleagues alike Excellent organisational skills: able to prioritise and manage competing tasks efficiently Commitment to delivering excellent customer service Effective team player with a collaborative approach Confidence using technology and learning new systems – previous experience with Intelligent Office is a bonus Keen to further develop your expertise in a professional environment Basic understanding of financial products and relevant FCA regulations preferred
