Butler Rose Public Practice are delighted to be partnered with our client a highly successful Top 100 firm of accountants based in Camden Town that are now in a position to recruit a well qualified and experienced accounting professional into a Client / Portfolio Manager role to complement the existing team.

The role will hold a significant position at the firms accounts department taking responsibility for a diverse client portfolio of mainly medium to large OMBs.

Role Requirements -

• Preparation, review and finalisation of year-end accounts in accordance with FRS102-1A and FRS105 for Limited Companies, sole traders, partnerships utilising source documents or clients' nominal ledgers.
• Preparation, review and finalisation of business and personal tax computations
• Completion of personal and corporate tax returns
• Completion of IXBRL tagging and submission of accounts to Companies House and HMRC
• Preparation, review and finalisation of management accounts and cashflows
• Reporting to partners on job progress and financial targets
• Supervision, mentoring and training of junior staff members and assisting in technical issues
• Planning and implementation of technical changes to accounts

Person Requirements -

• ACA/ACCA qualified with at least 5+ years' experience working for a prominent UK based accountancy practice in a similar client / Accounts / Portfolio Manager role.
• Proven experience of managing a client portfolio with strong working exposure to accounts preparation (FRS102-1A) and tax returns
• Proficient in the use of various accounting software to include CCH and XERO
• Excellent communication skills both written and oral with the ability to build solid relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
