Job Overview:
The primary function of the Climate Control Technician is to install, repair and maintain portable, temporary heating, air conditioning and dehumidifying equipment. This is a non-exempt, full-time position reporting to the department manager.

Primary Duties:

Capable of working alone or in a group environment.
Good organizational skills, capable of filling out basic digital forms in the field.
Good communitive skills and coordination with authority, co-workers, contractors, and clients.
Enforce that work is being done in compliance with company protocol.
Produce detailed safety and incident reports as needed.
Read and interpret safety/employment manuals and other work-related documents.
Work extended hours when required for scheduling and/or job completion.
Work in varying weather conditions when required.
Follow written and verbal instructions.
Follow company quality, safety and environmental guidelines as well as employee handbook policies.
Able to lift 80 pounds of necessary equipment; Able to push and pull 75 pounds. Ability to climb a ladder.
Handle exposure to dust, fumes, heights, and high noise levels.
Able to utilize company WO software to completion of projects.
Available to be on a rotating on-call schedule that includes occasional nights and weekends.
Able to handle high stress situations and frequent interruptions.
Use good reasoning and organizational skills.
Regular interaction with peers on-site, including face-to-face meetings and spontaneous conferences.
Regular and reliable attendance and presence at work.
Operate in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
Perform any other duties as may be assigned.

Qualifications/Experience/Education:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong mechanical skillset.
Valid chauffer’s driver’s license and clean driving record.
Able to pass pre-employment 7-year criminal background check.
