Climate Knowledge Lead, £55K, hybrid: London/Remote
The Role:
The Climate Knowledge Lead will play a pivotal role in helping ICE build the competence of its members in decarbonising and ensuring the resilience of the built environment. You will lead the development and delivery of through-life CPD (Continuing Professional Development) programmes, new standards and codes, guidance and thought leadership that positions ICE as a frontrunner in these critical areas.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Lead the delivery of core climate and decarbonisation engineering knowledge programmes.
Manage a team of specialists to develop high-quality content across various formats, including standards, toolkits, CPD modules, and thought leadership reports.
Build strong relationships with industry experts and stakeholders to inform programme development.
Oversee the production of content for various platforms, including the ICE website, podcasts, and events.
Manage budgets and ensure efficient financial operations for assigned programmes.
Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment.
What We'd Like from You:
Significant experience in programme management, specialist editing, or a similar role related to climate change and decarbonisation in the built environment.
In-depth knowledge of the technical, policy and financial aspects of decarbonisation and building resilience in infrastructure with specific regard to civil engineering.
A degree in Journalism, Communications, Civil Engineering, Carbon Management or a related field.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage a wide range of audiences.
Strong leadership, project management and organisational skills.
A collaborative and results-oriented approach to work.
