Today, our services extend across fertility and family-forming, maternity and non-urgent infant care, menopause, women’s and men’s reproductive health, neurodiversity, mental wellbeing and lifestyle health (including weight management), offering clinical and wellbeing support, educational resources, and financial assistance, all through our Fertifa app.

After acquiring Juniper Reproductive Health and completing a seed extension in 2025, we are now entering an exciting phase of growth. As we scale, we’re building a team of mission-driven, high-performing individuals passionate about transforming employer-funded healthcare.

Our next step in the journey? We’re looking for a Clinical Advisor.

The Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join the clinical team at Fertifa, a fast-growing health-tech making a real impact in people’s lives. Our team is made up of highly knowledgeable, compassionate and accredited clinical professionals who specialise in all of our areas of coverage.

As a Clinical Advisor, you will be the primary clinical point of contact for patients navigating the journeys through one of our clinical pathways. You will provide support for their wellbeing and to ensure they feel listened to, “seen” and “heard” by offering objective clinically-informed expert guidance, navigational advice, interpret clinical results where relevant and offer empathetic support to help patients make informed decisions about their treatment journeys.

While this role is centred on your expertise in a particular pathway, such as fertility, menopause, men’s health, neurodiversity or other, Fertifa is a multi-disciplinary environment. As a core requirement of the position, you will be expected to support patients across our full range of clinical pathways. You will work alongside specialists in our different pathways, cross training to ensure that you can provide high quality first-line guidance and clinical triage across the entire clinical service. This role reports to the Head of Clinical Services, working closely with our Medical Director, patient advisors and collaborating with the wider company.

Key Responsibilities:

Clinical Focus:

• Conduct discovery video calls within your area of expertise, helping patients understand investigation and treatment pathways and next steps.


• Act as the primary point of contact for patient inquiries across all health pathways, including those outside your primary expertise (training provided) providing accurate, up to date information tailored to individual needs.


• If applicable, interpret and discuss test results, treatment plans, and follow up options with patients in a clear, actionable manner.


• Offer professional, empathetic support to individuals navigating complex health journeys, signposting to further resources or clinical specialists where necessary.


• Manage app and email inquiries professionally, delivering informed, patient centred and timely responses.


• Document patient interactions, treatments and outcomes accurately, maintaining the highest standards of record keeping and confidentiality for team collaboration and scale.

Operational Focus:

• Serve as a subject matter expert for the wider team, providing guidance on complex queries related to your specific pathway.


• Contribute to the development of digital tools and services, ensuring a supportive, innovative, and efficient patient journey.


• Create educational content, run webinars, and facilitate teaching sessions on area of expertise and broader health topics.


• Work with partner clinics and diagnostic providers to ensure a seamless patient experience.

Skills and Attributes:

• You are an established clinical professional in your field, able to explain complex procedures and terminology with warmth and clarity.


• A proactive desire to learn and advise on pathways outside of your primary background (e.g., Fertility, Maternity, Women’s Reproductive Health, other).


• Deeply empathetic with the ability to support patients through sensitive and often stressful health journeys.


• Comfortable working in a fast-paced digital environment, balancing best in class clinical care with technical efficiency.


• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for both patient-facing and corporate facing interactions.

Qualifications & Experience:

Essential

• A minimum of 2 years’ specialism in one of the following areas: Neurodiversity, Mental Health, Men’s Reproductive Health, Menopause, Fertility, Infant/Paediatric Care or Lifestyle Health (with a focus on GLP-1s).


• Must hold a valid registration with a relevant professional body (e.g. NMC, HCPC, BACP, UKCP or equivalent). We welcome applications from Registered Nurses, Allied Health Professionals or accredited Practitioners/Therapists.


• Proven experience in patient-facing consultations.


• Strong IT skills (Microsoft Office, Semble, or equivalent patient management software) and use of digital/software tools for BAU and productivity.
  
  

Desirable

• Experience or clinical interest in wider health and our other pathways, such as Fertility and Family Forming, Maternity, Reproductive Health etc.


• Experience in and comfort with delivering health education, public speaking or hosting webinars.


• Experience in a digital health or virtual clinical setting.

Additional Requirements:

• Willingness to support patients across diverse pathways, with training provided as needed.


• Flexibility to work a rota including early starts (8am), late finishes (8pm).


• Commitment to continuous professional development, staying current with healthcare practices relevant to our services.
