Our client, a well-respected provider of high-quality care, is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Deputy Nurse Manager to join their team in a beautifully appointed, small care home for older adults with nursing and dementia care needs. With a Good CQC rating and a reputation for excellence, the service offers a nurturing and supportive environment where both residents and team members thrive.

This is a full-time position (40 hours per week) offering a balance of supernumerary and clinical hours, perfect for a nurse looking to take the next step in their leadership journey while staying hands-on with clinical care. The Deputy Manager will support the Home Manager in day-to-day operations, ensuring the highest standards of nursing and person-centred care are maintained.

What We’re Looking For

• Nurse-qualified (RGN/RMN) with a valid NMC pin

• Previous experience in a leadership or senior nursing role

• Strong knowledge of dementia care and person-centred approaches

• Excellent communication and team-building skills

Key Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership and guidance to the nursing and care team

• Support with care planning, audits, and compliance activities

• Champion best practices in dementia and elderly care

• Act as a mentor and role model to junior staff

• Step in for the Home Manager as needed to maintain smooth operations
