About the Role:
We are currently recruiting for a Legal Assistant to join a busy and reputable Clinical Negligence department in Sheffield. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a keen interest in medical law and litigation, offering the chance to develop within a supportive and dynamic legal team.
Key Responsibilities:

• 
  Supporting fee earners with clinical negligence case files
• 
  Drafting legal documents and correspondence
• 
  Managing case files, including document collation, bundling, and file management
• 
  Liaising with clients, medical experts, and third parties
• 
  Assisting with case preparation for court hearings and settlement meetings
• 
  Accurately inputting and updating case details using the firm's case management system

Requirements:

• 
  Previous experience in a legal assistant or paralegal role, preferably within clinical negligence or personal injury
• 
  Excellent administrative and organisational skills
• 
  Strong written and verbal communication abilities
• 
  Experience using case management software - prior experience with Partners for Windows is highly desirable
• 
  A proactive and professional approach to supporting fee earners
