Clinical Negligence Paralegal

Sacco Mann is recruiting for a Clinical Negligence Paralegal to join our client's reputable law firm based in Skegness, Lincolnshire. The successful candidate will work closely with senior partners and solicitors, managing a varied case load of medical negligence claims.

The Role

You will be responsible for conducting legal research, drafting legal documents, liaising with clients, medical experts, and counsel, and vetting new cases. Depending on experience, you may be entrusted with running your own caseload of clinical negligence cases under supervision.

About You

• Minimum of 1 year's experience in working with medical negligence cases in a private practice setting.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to support and advise clients confidently and sensitively.
• Good medical knowledge to identify breaches of duty of care and provide expert advice on legal matters.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills, capable of prioritising tasks effectively.
• Knowledge of compliance issues, professional conduct, and legal accounting rules.
• Experience supporting clients through distressing circumstances, demonstrating empathy and compassion.
• Effective decision-making skills and the confidence to support a caseload independently with appropriate supervision.
• IT literate, with the ability to adapt to case management software and legal research tools.
