Are you an experienced Clinical Negligence Solicitor seeking a new challenge within a supportive and growing legal team?

This is an outstanding opportunity for a passionate and proactive lawyer to join a respected and expanding department specialising in medical negligence claims.

A leading law firm in High Wycombe is looking to recruit a qualified solicitor (2–5 years PQE) to manage or heavily assist with a clinical negligence caseload, covering all stages from initial instruction through to resolution. You’ll be joining a firm known for its inclusive culture, dedication to employee development and commitment to delivering high-quality legal services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle your own medical negligence caseload, with minimal supervision
• Take files from inception to conclusion, including investigation, negotiation and litigation
• Achieve realistic billing targets aligned with your experience and ability
• Undertake your own administrative and typing tasks
• Work closely with other team members in a collaborative, professional environment
• Stay abreast of relevant case law and upcoming changes to clinical negligence fixed costs and pre-action protocols

Candidate Requirements:

• 2–5 years’ post-qualification experience (PQE) in clinical negligence law
• Proven ability to manage a caseload independently or with minimal oversight
• Strong knowledge of clinical negligence processes, including cases valued under £25,000
• Excellent client care and communication skills
• Organised, efficient and able to prioritise a busy workload
• Confident working in a target-driven, legal services environment
• Team player with a flexible and proactive attitude
